The world was still, the trees looked intricately silhouetted against the sky, and I knew that I had to take a few moments before school to capture the beauty in front of me
I hurried out the door to school after that, and as we drove higher into the hills the sky continued to mesmerize me. With the white, crunchy frost on the ground the sky appeared to be blazing and the ground soft and safe.
As the day went along, it turned into one of those cold, crisp days that I absolutely love. The sun looked new and refreshing.
It was amazing to see how quickly the colors could change.
'I'm glad that I live in this beautiful world -
Heavenly Father created for me.'
Needless to say it was a spectacular day.
Oh, Brooke, those pics are gorgeous. I love days like that. I'm glad you're having fun with your camera! :)

Hi Brooke!
ReplyDeleteI know this is a totally late comment, as I didn't even know you existed until like a month ago, but ... oh well. This is awesome! I'm glad to know that Oregon didn't have that much of a winter in January either. I suppose that's a little mean, but it's comforting to me that Utah isn't the only weather-crazy state!
You take awesome pictures. I wish I had a camera! I suppose I should sneak the family camera sometime and really appreciate things, yes? And then, of course, stick them on MY blog. Goodness knows my blog has enough pictures. *sarcasm*
Anyway, as most of my comments, this is only a touch more relevant to the post. And, like my posts and generally everything I tend to write, it's super long. Bother bother bother. Comments are no fun if all they say is "cool."
Cool!
Thanks for your comment. Let's just say mood swings are, contrary to my feelings toward regular swings (and jumping off them in a way that makes my mom yell at me, but it's FUN, or flinging my flip-flops in contest with friends), not exactly fun to take a ride on. You made me realize that when you bomb things with people you rely on and you're in the middle of fixing things and there's nobody there to help you, there actually is. However, the fact that you're a few states away is pretty disappointing.
Keep posting, and having "Spectacular day"s!
